HOW YOU CAN HELP
There are various ways you can be involved with Persatuan Daybreak. Following are some suggestions:-

Daybreak’s basis of existence and assistance to people with disabilities relies greatly on the support and generosity of individual
and corporate donors such as your goodself. To develop our services, we need your help – no matter how much you donate, it is still
very meaningful to the people with disabilities. If you like the opportunity to make a difference to the life of a person with
disabilities, you can make a donation using any of the following methods. What’s more, all monetary gifts to Daybreak are tax-deductible.
Tax-exemption receipts will be issued to all donations.

Donation-in Kind
Donations-in-kind such as in the form of equipment and machineries are also welcomed.
You can also bequeath to Daybreak.
Shop at Daybreak
Daybreak’s trainees produce a range of handicrafts and they also tend to our
very own plant nursery. All of these products are for sale and they would make gifts
which help support a meaningful cause. All proceeds from the sale of products go back into the running of the centre.
Employ Daybreak’s Trainees
Open employment (jobs) is one of the important ways of gaining economic independence among people with disabilities.
Be a caring corporate citizen and start employing people with disabilities. Our training programme can be tailored
to the employers’ requirements. Each time a trainee is employed in the open market, a vacancy is created to absorb another trainee.
Be a Volunteer at Daybreak
Volunteers are very important in the provision of social inclusion. The public can understand the needs of the people with
disabilities through providing volunteer services to them. They can learn that people with disabilities also need concern and
respect for the others.
Volunteers play multiple vital roles in Daybreak. Volunteers with specific skills that are relevant to Daybreak can help
to expand and improve our services.
Are you willing to spend your precious time and show your concern to people with disabilities? By enriching their lives,
you will enrich your own life too!
Provide Daybreak with Contract Work
Besides being a source of revenue contract works (especially those related to packaging and assembly) are also used
as a means of work therapy.
Sponsor Charity Sales
Many companies, churches and hospitals support Daybreak by allowing us to hold charity sales of our products at their premises.
Please contact us at any time if you are interested!
Support Us by Providing Materials
Materials that are of no market value to individual company but which are of commercial value to Daybreak are welcome.
